Estonia trade: Export and import grew by 15% in June
Estonia's goods export and import both increased by 15% in June compared to the same month last year, according to Statistics Estonia. During the month, exports were valued at approximately 1.7 billion euros, while imports reached roughly 2.1 billion euros, resulting in a trade deficit of 413 million euros.
For the first half of the year, total goods exported amounted to nearly 10 billion euros, with electrical equipment, agricultural products, and food being the primary exports. Imports were led by electrical equipment and transport vehicles. In the first six months of 2026, exports grew by 8% and imports by 7% compared to the previous year.
In June, the largest increases in export value were seen in mineral products, metal and metal products, and agricultural and food products. Major export partners included Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Sweden, with Finland receiving the largest share of exports. Key import partners were Finland, Germany, and Latvia.
