Estonian cook to host traditional cooking workshops in Australia
Estonian cook and heritage expert Margit Kirss-Elsayed will conduct a series of traditional cooking workshops in Australia this September. The tour will visit Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide.
Kirss-Elsayed, the founder of Kirsikool and a teacher at the Olustvere School of Service and Rural Economics, aims to preserve Estonian food heritage by teaching participants how to prepare traditional dishes. The workshops focus on recipes such as verivorst, mulgipuder, and kohuk, which serve as vital links to Estonian identity and childhood memories.
