Estonian real estate markets show growth in Tallinn and Pärnu

The Estonian real estate market is showing signs of renewed activity in both Tallinn and Pärnu. In Tallinn, the student rental market is seeing increased movement at the start of the academic year. There is a growing trend where parents are opting to purchase apartments for their children rather than relying on rentals.

In Pärnu, the property market is experiencing growth in transaction volumes, supported by the stabilization of Euribor. Buyers are increasingly prioritizing functionality, location, and living environment quality over mere price per square meter. While coastal areas remain popular, riverside regions are also gaining attention. New developments, such as the Seileri Kvartal on the former Pärnu Machine Factory site, are reshaping the urban landscape.

Tarmo Pohlak of Nordecon AS notes that Pärnu is becoming an attractive location for year-round living and investment due to infrastructure improvements and urban development, drawing interest from investors in Tallinn, Tartu, and Finland.
