Estopa announces new double album and 2027 stadium tour

Spanish musical duo Estopa has announced a new double album titled ‘La Maketa’, scheduled for release on November 20. The project serves as a ‘time capsule’, recovering material recorded between 1996 and 1998, prior to the group’s rise to fame.

The album is structured into two parts: the first contains ten tracks, including seven previously unreleased songs from their original demo and three additional compositions from that era. The second volume features original 1997 recordings edited from the original masters. The first single, ‘Bicho raro’, is set for release on October 16.

To support the release, the brothers David and José Muñoz will embark on the ‘La MKT’ stadium tour in 2027. The tour includes four major dates in Spain: June 12 at Estadio Ciutat de València in Valencia, June 18 at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona, June 26 at Estadio La Cartuja in Seville, and July 9 at Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid.

Ticket sales will begin in stages, with a general sale starting November 17. Fans who pre-order the physical edition of the album starting October 18 will receive priority access to ticket sales.
