Linea Verde explores Italian innovation and heritage

The Rai 1 program “Linea Verde – L’Italia è straordinaria” is continuing its new season, focusing on Italian territories, culture, and innovation. The season began in Cagliari, exploring the city's history, archaeology, and biodiversity.

The journey moves to Pesaro in the Marche region, highlighting the intersection of tradition and modern technology. A central feature of the episode is the development of a new photovoltaic plant by the Estra Group. This facility, currently under construction in the Pesaro countryside, will utilize over 7,000 panels and an east-west solar tracking system to produce approximately 8 GWh of energy annually, enough to meet the needs of over 3,000 families.

This project is part of Estra's broader renewable energy plan, which includes 500 million euros in investments scheduled between 2025 and 2029. Beyond energy, the program explores Pesaro's historical heritage, including the legacies of the Malatesta, Sforza, and Della Rovere families, as well as its connection to music and maritime identity.
