Estrela do Terceiro Milênio begins 2027 Carnival preparations

Estrela do Terceiro Milênio has begun preparations for the 2027 Carnival by holding auditions for its new 'Comissão de Frente'. The auditions, held at Estúdio Broadway in São Paulo, drew 70 dancers.

The project aims to integrate dance, theater, and acting to create a more narrative-driven performance. The creative team features choreographer Marcelo Misailidis and carnival designer Paulo Barros, marking a professional reunion for the duo 17 years after their previous collaboration at Unidos de Vila Isabel in 2009.
