Estrella Galicia Museum to exhibit Carlos Sainz F1 replica

The Estrella Galicia Museum (MEGA) in A Coruña will begin exhibiting a replica of the Williams FW48 Formula 1 car used by Spanish driver Carlos Sainz starting next week. To facilitate the installation, the museum's front glass facade had to be dismantled to allow for an aerial operation to deliver the vehicle into the exhibition space.

The replica will be a permanent fixture in the museum's sports sponsorship area, highlighting the long-standing relationship between the driver and Estrella Galicia 0,0, the official beer of the Atlassian Williams F1 Team. This addition follows a recent temporary exhibition dedicated to Sainz, which featured his childhood kart, helmets, trophies, and other racing equipment.

Marta Rodríguez, director of MEGA, stated that the sports sponsorship section is a “living area that is renewed every year” to showcase brand alliances. She noted that Sainz has been a prominent ambassador for the brand for over a decade.
