Estrellas Orientales begin training camp for LIDOM 2026-2027 season

The Estrellas Orientales have commenced their mini-training camp in preparation for the 2026-2027 LIDOM season. Held at the Detroit Tigers sports complex in Ramón Santana, San Pedro de Macorís, the camp features 32 players, including key pitchers such as Esmil Rogers, Gregory Santos, and Neftalí Féliz.

Among the notable attendees is Raimel Tapia, who led the league in hits last season. Pitcher Oscar de la Cruz, who led the league in strikeouts last year, also joined the camp following a summer in the Mexican League. De la Cruz expressed his intention to maintain his dominant performance from the mound. The team will remain at the current complex for two weeks before moving to Estadio Tetelo Vargas on September 28.
