The Estrellas Orientales baseball club has announced its training schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) season. Training is set to begin on September 14 with a mini-camp at the Detroit Tigers complex in Ramón Santana, focusing primarily on pitchers and catchers.

On September 21, the full roster will begin training at the Tetelo Vargas Stadium in San Pedro de Macorís. The team will be led by manager Héctor Borg, who will make his debut with the club. The coaching staff includes specialists in pitching, batting, and strategic coordination.

The club has also confirmed the return of two key imported players: outfielder Ismael Munguía, who led the league in batting average last season with .368, and reliever Patrick Weigel.
