Estudiantes and Pueblo Nuevo compete in Mar del Plata volleyball tournament

The second stage of the Liga Provincial Bonaerense (LiProBo) volleyball tournament for the Sub 16 A1 Female category took place in Mar del Plata from August 7 to August 9. Two teams from the Olavarría Association, Estudiantes and Pueblo Nuevo, participated in the event.

Estudiantes finished in seventh place with a record of three wins and three losses. After finishing second in Zone C, they advanced to the quarterfinals, where they were defeated 0-3 by the eventual champion, Once Unidos of Mar del Plata. Following a loss in the fifth-to-eighth place semifinals, Estudiantes secured seventh place by defeating Bahiense del Norte 2-1.

Pueblo Nuevo finished in sixteenth place. After losing all three matches in Zone C, the team competed in the classification round for 15th to 17th place. They defeated Argentino of Trenque Lauquen 2-0 but lost to Sarmiento of Junín 1-2 in a tie-break.
