Estudiantes to host Flamengo at Estadio UNO in Copa Libertadores semifinals

Estudiantes de La Plata will host Flamengo at Estadio UNO for the first leg of the Copa Libertadores semifinals on October 15. This follows negotiations to resolve stadium capacity requirements set by CONMEBOL.

CONMEBOL regulations require host stadiums to accommodate at least 4,000 visiting supporters. To meet this threshold, Estudiantes reached an agreement to allocate specific sectors to Flamengo fans, including the visitor section and parts of the sector H grandstand. To compensate for the reduced home capacity, the club plans to install temporary tubular stands near the VIP boxes for local supporters.

The second leg is scheduled for October 22 at the Maracaná in Rio de Janeiro. Meanwhile, Estudiantes faces roster challenges as players Leandro González Pírezy and Tomás Palacios will miss the first semifinal match due to yellow card accumulation.
