ESV Buchloe signs 22‑year‑old forward Korbinian Benz

Forward Korbinian Benz, 22, has transferred from HC Landsberg’s Riverkings to the ESV Buchloe "Piraten" for the upcoming Bayernliga season. The move is part of the club’s strategy to field a younger, more dynamic roster.

Benz brings experience despite his age, having played more than 100 Bayernliga matches and a handful of Oberliga games with the Riverkings. Coach Dominic Weis praised his speed, determination and scoring touch, calling him a strong addition to the squad.

The transfer was announced ahead of the season’s ticket sales launch, signalling the club’s intent to build around youthful talent for the next campaign.
