During the proceedings, witness Mcolisi Shongwe testified that he was contacted by a friend in Johannesburg to assist a group of individuals in obtaining Swazi identification. Shongwe stated that he met a group of men and a woman at the Hilton Garden Inn, who requested assistance with the documents. He subsequently contacted Malambe, who allegedly informed him that obtaining the identity document was possible.
