Eswatini International Trade Fair to focus on green economy

The 58th Eswatini International Trade Fair is scheduled to take place from 28 August to 6 September at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini. Held under the theme ‘Unlocking Green Economy Opportunities for Sustainable Trade Promotion’, the event focuses on sustainability, innovation, and green economic opportunities with support from partners such as the UNDP.

The Eswatini International Trade Promotion Authority (EIPA) expects over 200 exhibitors, including approximately 10 per cent from outside the country. For the first time, an International Pavilion will host exhibitors from South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Mozambique, alongside participants from Turkey and Taiwan.

In addition to commerce, the fair serves as a platform for the local creative industry, with more than 70 per cent of the entertainment line-up featuring Eswatini artists and DJs. This event coincides with a period of high activity in the country, alongside the Umhlanga cultural ceremony and a Bikers Rally, driving significant domestic tourism and regional engagement.
