Eswatini Stock Exchange unveils Kwakhanya 2030 strategy

The Eswatini Stock Exchange (ESE) has launched ‘Kwakhanya 2030’, a new corporate strategy designed to transform the bourse into a national engine for wealth creation and economic growth. Unveiled by CEO Simanga Mdluli during a business seminar at the Eswatini International Trade Fair, the strategy aims to make investment opportunities more visible and accessible to citizens. Key goals include providing entrepreneurs with alternatives to traditional bank financing, enabling productive capital deployment by pension funds, and allowing young people to invest via mobile phones.

During the seminar, AlphSZ Group CEO Thandile Nxumalo emphasized the necessity of financial literacy and due diligence. She urged investors to avoid products they do not fully understand to ensure sustainable long-term wealth. Additionally, Mdluli called for increased support from government institutions and policymakers to unlock the full potential of the country’s capital markets.
