Etar VT coach Ivan Ivanov cites psychological crisis after loss

Etar VT head coach Ivan Ivanov expressed deep concern regarding his team’s psychological state following a 2-4 defeat against Chernomorets Burgas in the MrBit Second League. Ivanov noted that the squad is struggling with fear and a lack of leadership, which has hindered their ability to capitalize on opportunities during matches.

According to Ivanov, the team's mental state has declined since setting higher competitive goals this season. He highlighted that the squad consists of young players who lack the physical strength and experience necessary to lead under pressure. This loss follows a previous heavy defeat against Heber, contributing to a negative trend for the club.

Ivanov emphasized the need for a serious analysis of the team's technical and mental performance, stating that the players must endure direct criticism to improve. He also apologized to fans for missing a post-match interview in the previous round, citing a lengthy and difficult discussion with his players.
