Vietnam Tax Department introduces AI chatbot for business households

The Vietnamese Tax Department is enhancing digital management for business households through the eTax Mobile application. A new AI-powered chatbot assistant has been integrated into the app to simplify the tax declaration process.

This chatbot provides a guided workflow, allowing users to declare revenue, business types, and tax obligations step-by-step on mobile devices. Currently, the tool supports the 01/CNKD tax form for households with annual revenues exceeding 1 billion VND.

In regions like Ha Tinh, business owners are increasingly adopting software and digital tools to track sales and manage invoices. This shift helps ensure more accurate revenue reporting and more proactive tax compliance, moving away from traditional fixed tax methods toward declarations based on actual business performance.
