ETED performs maintenance on Pimentel–Hatillo transmission line

The Dominican Electricity Transmission Company (ETED) is performing maintenance to replace deteriorated structures on the 69 kV Pimentel–Hatillo transmission line. These preventive works are intended to strengthen the National Interconnected Electric System (SENI) and ensure a more stable and reliable operation.

To facilitate these repairs, temporary power interruptions will occur between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. in several communities within the Sánchez Ramírez province, including Cotuí, La Mata, Boca de Camú, Barrio Lindo, La Fortuna, La Cigua, El Rayo, and La Cueva.

Partial service interruptions will also affect the communities of Pimentel and San Francisco de Macorís in the Duarte province, as well as the companies Pastas Alimenticias and Procesadora de Alimentos (Prodal).
