He dismissed claims that his scoring record negatively impacts team cohesion, stating, “A player who scores goals will never be a problem in a team.”

Mbappé also spoke out against AI-generated memes that depict him as a dictator, sometimes alongside historical figures like Josef Stalin. While acknowledging the humor some find in the memes, he expressed discomfort with the comparisons, noting that such imagery can downplay the suffering caused by real historical dictators. He remarked that being compared to individuals who “murder others, or who have made millions and millions of people miserable” reveals a “lack of political and human awareness.”
