Ethereum eyes $3,000 target amid rising crypto market sentiment

The cryptocurrency market is showing signs of increased risk appetite. Ethereum (ETH) has broken past the $2,570 level, leading analysts to suggest a potential target of $3,000 if it maintains its current upward channel. Technical analysis indicates that while the $2,570 mark serves as a key resistance level, the asset has found support near $2,375 during recent volatility. On-chain data supports a bullish outlook, with approximately 140,000 ETH (valued at roughly $350 million) being withdrawn from exchanges over a four-day period, potentially reducing immediate sell pressure.

In the South Korean market, Bitcoin is trading at approximately 110.66 million KRW, while Ethereum sits at 3.58 million KRW. Market sentiment has shifted toward 'greed' with a Fear and Greed Index reading of 71. On major domestic exchanges like Upbit and Bithumb, 68% of high-volume tokens saw gains. Notable activity included a significant surge in MultiverseX, while XRP remained the leader in absolute trading volume. Despite the general upward trend, the 'Kimchi Premium' remains negative at -1.5%, indicating domestic prices are currently lower than international rates.
