Ethereum price recovers amid regulatory shifts and macro changes

Ethereum has experienced a price recovery, trading near $2,500 to $2,650 following recent volatility. The rebound comes despite several macroeconomic and regulatory headwinds, including a 25-basis-point interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve and the U.S. Senate’s failure to advance the CLARITY Act.

Market analysts note that Ethereum is benefiting from a potential shift in regulatory landscape. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has introduced a Tokenized Securities Venue (TSV) designation, a limited experiment allowing for the trading of blockchain versions of listed stocks on public, permissionless distributed ledgers. As a leader in this space, Ethereum is positioned to benefit if such tokenized securities gain broader approval.

On-chain data shows a record 207.17 million non-empty wallets and increased whale transaction activity. While spot Ethereum ETFs have seen recent outflows totaling approximately $407.3 million, falling exchange supply and improved network utility suggest a complex market environment. Technical analysts are currently monitoring key resistance levels around $2,550 and $2,660 to determine if a sustained breakout is underway.
