Ethereum price faces resistance amid ETF inflows and selling pressure

Ethereum hovered between $1,868 and $1,933, with analysts highlighting a key support zone at $1,849‑$1,874 and resistance near $1,900‑$1,961. Institutional money has been flowing into U.S. spot ETFs – $53.7 million in the latest day and $365 million in July – while large wallets have bought or staked tens of thousands of ETH. At the same time, derivative market metrics turned negative, indicating growing sell‑side pressure.

Bitcoin traded above $64,600 as the overall crypto market reached roughly $2.28 trillion. The Fear & Greed Index stayed at 27, signalling fear‑dominated sentiment. Ethereum spot ETFs recorded a net inflow of $60.86 million, with $50.34 million going to BlackRock’s product. Nexchain raised more than $17 million in a pre‑sale and is targeting a listing price of $0.30 per token.
