Ethereum Outperforms Bitcoin as Robinhood Chain Boosts On‑Chain Activity and ETF Flows Diverge

Ethereum has posted stronger weekly performance than Bitcoin and major altcoins, driven by the launch of Robinhood Chain, a Layer‑2 network on Ethereum. The L2 recorded over $800 million in daily DEX volume and more than $164 million of ETH bridged from L1 in its first week, a ten‑fold increase that analysts cite as a key institutional signal.

In the United States, spot Bitcoin exchange‑traded funds attracted a net inflow of $79.15 million on a single day, while spot Ethereum ETFs saw a net outflow of $28.04 million, highlighting a split in institutional demand. Over the same period, ETH‑focused ETFs received $96 million in three days, with BlackRock’s ETH fund alone drawing $45.3 million.

Ethereum’s price hovered near $1,835, testing the $1,800 support zone and facing resistance around $1,930‑$2,030. The asset has risen roughly 11 % over the past week, supported by on‑chain activity, ETF movements, and ongoing macro‑economic uncertainty, including concerns around the CLARITY Act and geopolitical tensions. Technical analysts note a head‑and‑shoulders pattern suggesting further downside risk if the $1,800 level is broken.
