Ethereum recovers above $2,500 amid ETF demand and staking growth

Ethereum has seen a significant price recovery, reclaiming the $2,500 mark. This upward trend is driven by substantial demand through US spot ETFs, which recently saw inflows of hundreds of millions of dollars, and high levels of network participation, with over 42 million ETH currently staked.

While Ethereum shows strength, the broader cryptocurrency market remains in a state of cautious recovery. Bitcoin has risen toward $78,792, and Monero has seen double-digit gains. However, market sentiment is tempered by concerns regarding interest rates, which could exert downward pressure on digital asset prices.

Technical developments are also shaping the landscape. Ethereum is preparing for the Hegotá upgrade, including EIP-8141 to enable native account abstraction. Additionally, a shift in stablecoin liquidity is occurring within the RLUSD ecosystem, with Ethereum now hosting approximately 56.1% of the stablecoin supply, surpassing the XRP Ledger.
