ETHIC DRIVE project launches to transform automotive maintenance

The ETHIC DRIVE project has commenced its operational activities, funded by the Abruzzo Region through the 2021–2027 FESR Regional Program. The initiative aims to develop an integrated end-to-end digital architecture to redefine maintenance processes within the automotive and mobility sectors.

The project is built upon three core technological pillars: the Internet of Things (IoT) for real-time vehicle data acquisition, Artificial Intelligence (AI) for predictive analysis of potential faults, and Blockchain for maintaining an immutable and transparent record of maintenance history. This integration seeks to transition the industry from traditional reactive repairs to a proactive, personalized management model designed to reduce downtime and extend vehicle lifespan.

Managed by the INOLTRA Innovation Hub for communication and results valorization, the 30-month project is led by Tiassisto24 S. r. l. and involves a consortium of industrial, technological, and scientific partners.
