Ethica to host international conference on Europe and war

Ethica is organizing an international conference titled ‘Europe and War’ from October 15 to 17. The event will take place across Alessandria and Asti, featuring various sessions with authoritative speakers.

A primary session held at the University of Alessandria will focus on international law during wartime, examining the legal implications of armed conflicts. The session will be chaired by Paolo Rampini and includes contributions from experts such as Manlio Graziano from the Paris School of International Affairs and the Sorbonne, and Nicola Colacino from the Center for Defense Studies.

Topics of discussion include the crisis of the collective security system, the return to the unilateral use of force, and the role of international criminal justice in conflict scenarios. The project is supported by several foundations, including the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Asti, and is held in collaboration with the Spykman Center and the University of Eastern Piedmont.
