Ethiopian Airlines authorized for cargo flights in Argentina

The Argentine government has authorized Ethiopian Airlines Group to operate regular international cargo flights within the country. This decision, formalized through Disposition 26/2026, follows bilateral agreements between Argentina and Ethiopia.

The authorization allows the Ethiopian flag carrier to conduct cargo-only operations, excluding passenger services. The airline will be permitted to exercise various air freedoms, including the transport of goods between the airline's home country, third states, and Argentina, as established in the existing Memorandum of Understanding between the two nations.
