Etihad Airways and Air Peace sign interline pact to connect Lagos, Abuja and 20 West African cities

Etihad Airways and Nigeria’s largest carrier, Air Peace, have signed an interline agreement that will link Etihad’s network with Air Peace’s extensive domestic and regional routes. The deal opens up to 20 destinations across Nigeria, West and Central Africa – including Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu, Benin City, Owerri, Warri, Asaba and regional capitals such as Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Freetown, Monrovia, Conakry, Bamako, Douala and Libreville – to be reachable on a single ticket.

Etihad’s Chief Commercial and Revenue Officer Arik De said the partnership supports the airline’s long‑term ambition in Africa, placing Nigeria at the centre of its expansion. Air Peace’s Chief Commercial Officer Nowel Ngala highlighted the benefit for Nigerian and West African travellers, giving them direct access to Etihad’s services to Abu Dhabi once the new routes launch. The agreement follows the UAE‑Nigeria Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement signed in January 2026 and reflects growing trade and community links between the two nations.
