Etihad Airways debuts Airbus A380 service in Bangkok

Etihad Airways has launched its first Airbus A380 service to Thailand, marking a significant milestone for the airline. The flagship double-deck aircraft is now operating daily flights between Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi and Bangkok.

The new service introduces premium onboard amenities to the route, including ‘The Residence’—a three-room suite—as well as First Apartments and lie-flat Business Class seats. The deployment aims to meet high seasonal demand between Thailand, the Middle East, and Europe during the winter travel period.

The daily flight schedule is designed to facilitate tourism and international connections. The outbound flight from Abu Dhabi arrives in Bangkok the following morning, while the return service departs Bangkok in the morning to arrive in Abu Dhabi by midday.
