Etihad Airways launches direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Luxembourg
Etihad Airways has commenced direct operations between Abu Dhabi and Luxembourg, making it the first Middle Eastern airline to fly to the Grand Duchy. The new route features four weekly frequencies, catering to both corporate and leisure travel demand.
The service is operated using Airbus A321LR aircraft, which feature a three-class configuration including two First Suites, 14 Business Class seats, and 144 Economy Class seats. Both premium cabins offer fully flat beds with direct aisle access, while all passengers have access to high-speed Wi-Fi.
CEO Antonoaldo Neves noted that 2026 has been a year of significant network expansion for the airline, highlighting Luxembourg as a special addition. The route provides a direct link for travelers from Luxembourg and neighboring regions, including Belgium, France, and Germany, to connect through Zayed International Airport to destinations in Asia and Australia.
