Etihad Rail integrates nol day passes for Dubai travel
Etihad Rail passengers traveling to Dubai can now integrate a nol one-day pass into their train bookings. This feature allows travelers to use a single QR code for onward journeys on the Dubai Metro, Tram, and RTA public buses.
Two pass options are available during the Etihad Rail booking process: a regular nol one-day pass for AED 22 and a Gold nol one-day pass for AED 42. These passes are valid for journeys on the Dubai Metro Red and Green lines, the Dubai Tram, and applicable RTA bus zones. While the pass is intended for seamless travel, it does not include intercity or seasonal buses.
The QR code for the pass remains valid for up to 90 days from the date of purchase, meaning it does not need to be activated on the same day as the Etihad Rail journey. This connection is particularly relevant for passengers arriving at Etihad Rail’s Al Yalayis Station, which is linked to the Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station via a pedestrian footbridge.
In Dubai, the nol card system managed by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) serves as the primary payment method for the Metro, Tram, Bus, Water transport, and the Palm Monorail. Various card tiers exist, including the one-time use Red Ticket, the rechargeable Silver card, and Gold options.
