Etihad Rail introduces new ticketing tiers and onboard dining

Etihad Rail has introduced new ticketing structures and an onboard dining experience for passengers traveling between Abu Dhabi and Fujairah.

To accommodate growing demand, the rail service now offers three fare categories: Saver, Value, and Flexible. Saver tickets are intended for fixed plans and do not allow changes or refunds. Value tickets permit unlimited free changes up to 72 hours before departure, with a small fee applied thereafter. Flexible tickets provide the highest level of service, allowing changes up to 30 minutes after departure and offering full refunds if cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

In addition to updated travel policies, Etihad Rail has launched a culinary program in collaboration with Capital Catering. The menu, themed ‘A Journey Through the Emirates’, features traditional Emirati dishes such as Machboos. Developed by chef Maitha Warshaw, the menu incorporates regional ingredients like dates, saffron, and cardamom to integrate local culture and hospitality into the rail travel experience.
