Etna Region Hosts Summer Art, Wine and Music Festivals

The Etna Arkè summer edition began at Primaterra, a boutique winery on the northern slopes of Mount Etna. Conceived by Tiziana Gandolfo, the program links art, philosophy and the four classical elements with wine tastings. Events include a July 26 gathering titled “La Gentilezza del Vino” that explores Sicilian women and wine, and an August 1 tasting of historic Etna vintages guided by sommelier Sergio Bellissimo.

Meanwhile, the “Etna in Scena” season transforms Zafferana Etnea into an open‑air cultural hub. The programme features a K‑Pop weekend (July 25‑26), a concert by Italian singer Arisa on August 2, jazz‑pop performances by Simona Molinari on August 4, and a showcase by local theatre‑music talent Manfredi Di Liberto on August 6. Both festivals aim to draw visitors from across Sicily and Italy, promoting the region’s natural heritage and local food and wine products.
