Eton College implements privacy measures for Prince George

Prince George is set to begin his studies at Eton College this coming September, following in the footsteps of his father, Prince William. To prepare for the arrival of the future king, the all-boys boarding school has implemented security measures, including installing ‘No Photography’ signs on its external fences.

These measures aim to protect the privacy of Prince George and his fellow students from media intrusion and public scrutiny. Reports suggest that a privacy agreement with the press, similar to the one established during Prince William’s time at the institution in the 1990s, may be negotiated to ensure the prince can experience school life with a degree of normalcy.

Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, have expressed a desire for George to attend school like any other student. While they reportedly do not intend to provide him with a smartphone, he will likely receive a basic mobile phone to maintain communication with his parents while away at school.
