eToro launches AI connectors for ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok

eToro has launched new AI connectors for ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, and Grok Bot, allowing retail investors to link their accounts directly to these AI assistants. Built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the integration enables users to query real-time information regarding their holdings, positions, balances, and performance without requiring API keys or technical coding skills.

Users can select between read-only access for research and analysis or read-and-act permissions where available. In the latter case, any proposed actions require explicit review and approval by the investor. To maintain security, all funding and withdrawals are processed exclusively within the eToro platform, and users retain the ability to pause or disconnect the connection at any time.

According to eToro’s Retail Investor Beat, 56 per cent of retail investors are either currently using or open to using AI tools to assist with investment decisions. eToro CEO Yoni Assia stated that the move represents a shift toward a phase of intelligence where investors combine personal judgment with AI assistance while remaining in control.
