Eturia reports 60% of New Year's Eve holiday packages already booked

Romanian tour operator Eturia reports that approximately 60% of its New Year's Eve holiday packages were already booked by September. This indicates a growing demand among Romanian tourists for holiday travel, particularly for exotic destinations and complex organized programs.

For the upcoming winter season, the company is offering charter flights to five primary destinations: Lapland, Phuket, the Maldives, Zanzibar, and Kenya. Lapland packages, which focus on family-oriented activities like visiting Santa Claus and husky sledding, start at 1,690 euros per person for five days and four nights.

Other holiday packages include the Maldives starting at 2,390 euros, Zanzibar at 2,590 euros, Kenya at 1,950 euros for Christmas departures, and Thailand at 2,090 euros for departures on January 1st. Eturia noted that the Maldives and Thailand were among its top-selling destinations in the first half of 2026.
