EU funds available for Romanian wine producers

A new funding session has opened for wine producers in Romania to access European funds for modernization, digitalization, and energy efficiency. Managed by the Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) under the 2023–2027 Strategic Plan, the total budget for these interventions exceeds 11 million euros.

The funding is divided into two main components. The first, IS-V-02, focuses on investments in tangible and intangible assets, with a total allocation of approximately 9.35 million euros. Under this category, complex projects can receive up to 1.5 million euros, while simple projects are capped at 400,000 euros.

The second component, IS-V-07, is dedicated to enhancing the sustainability of wine production, with an allocation of approximately 1.69 million euros. For these sustainability-focused projects, complex acquisitions can receive up to 650,000 euros, while simpler projects are capped at 250,000 euros.
