This digital document, accessible via QR code or vehicle displays, will provide data on emissions, CO2, fuel or energy consumption, electric range, and motor power.

For electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, the regulations mandate battery durability standards. Batteries must maintain at least 80 percent capacity after five years or 100,000 kilometers, and at least 72 percent capacity after eight years or 160,000 kilometers. Additionally, Euro 7 will introduce new limits on particulate emissions from brake and tire wear.

Regarding safety, new requirements will take effect on July 7, 2026. These include advanced automatic emergency braking capable of detecting pedestrians and cyclists, driver attention monitoring systems, tire wear tracking, and improved visibility features. These safety measures aim to reduce traffic accidents and fatalities across the EU. The Euro 7 emission standards will apply to new type approvals starting November 29, 2026, and to all new vehicles registered in the EU starting November 29, 2027.
