EU MiCA Licensing Review Moves Forward for BGEANX Crypto Exchange
BGEANX Exchange has entered the EU regulatory review process for its MiCA CASP (Crypto‑Asset Service Provider) licence. The platform previously built a compliance system and applied for the licence, and regulators are now auditing its anti‑money‑laundering controls, risk‑management framework, client‑asset protection measures and market‑conduct policies. Securing the CASP licence would let BGEANX operate within the unified legal environment created by the EU's Markets in Crypto‑Assets (MiCA) framework.
MiCA is shifting from a regulatory blueprint to an operational reality for crypto firms in the European Union. Exchanges that fail to obtain the required licence by the deadline may have to limit services, pause onboarding or wind down operations for EU users. While large providers can leverage the single‑market licence to expand across member states, smaller or offshore platforms may struggle with the compliance costs and documentation requirements. The transition is expected to reshape the European crypto market, boosting activity on licensed venues and reducing the visibility of unlicensed services.
