EUFOR presents Operation Althea at Tuzla Book Fair

EUFOR personnel participated in the Third Tuzla Book Fair, where they presented Operation Althea and highlighted the role of European forces in maintaining a secure and stable environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the multi-day event, which attracted thousands of visitors, EUFOR hosted an interactive stand. Visitors engaged with mission members, while creative activities and games were organized for younger attendees. Additionally, an EUFOR medical team demonstrated essential first aid techniques and emphasized the importance of timely emergency responses.

Major General Maurizio Fronda, Commander of EUFOR, addressed attendees, stating that a “secure and stable environment creates a space in which everyday life can progress, in which children can learn, businesses can operate, and cultural events like this can be organized.” The mission expressed its commitment to continuing cooperation with communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina to support a stable environment for citizens to live, work, and learn.
