Eufy introduces NVR System E50 with local AI surveillance

Anker Innovations' security brand, Eufy, has introduced the NVR System E50, a wired video surveillance solution designed for local AI processing. The system aims to provide high-level security without mandatory monthly subscription fees by storing recordings on a physical local unit rather than primarily in the cloud.

The E50 kit starts at $1,200 and includes four Power over Ethernet (PoE) cameras and an NVR with at least 2 TB of storage, expandable to 16 TB. The cameras feature a dual-lens design: a fixed 2K sensor with a 115-degree field of view for continuous monitoring, and a 4K PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) lens capable of 360-degree rotation and 5x zoom to identify details up to 20 meters away.
