Eugene 'Big U' Henley Jr. Charged with New Federal Offenses Including Witness‑Tampering Plot

Los Angeles music executive and alleged Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips leader Eugene "Big U" Henley Jr. has been hit with a superseding federal indictment that adds seven new felony counts. The added charges include two counts of solicitation to commit a crime of violence, two counts of witness tampering, one count of conspiracy to transport a person for prostitution, and two counts of wire fraud. Prosecutors allege Henley, while incarcerated, attempted to recruit fellow inmates to kill or seriously injure a prospective government witness slated to testify against his criminal organization.

The indictment builds on a prior 43‑count indictment filed in March 2025 that already accuses Henley of racketeering, murder, extortion, robbery, wire fraud and sex‑trafficking. He and six co‑defendants are scheduled for trial in a Los Angeles federal court in February 2027. The U.S. Attorney’s Office also alleges Henley paid co‑defendant Armani Aflleje $1,000 to transport women across state lines for prostitution. Henley’s legal team has denied the allegations and has not commented on the new charges.
