Eugenia Samara celebrates 39th birthday climbing Fuego volcano

Greek actress Eugenia Samara celebrated her 39th birthday by completing a demanding 12-hour climb of the Fuego volcano in Guatemala. Reaching an altitude of approximately 4,000 meters, Samara described the experience as ‘the most difficult thing I have ever done in my life’ due to the steep terrain, physical exhaustion, and lack of oxygen.

Sharing her journey on social media, she noted that the trek was a microcosm of life, filled with challenges such as fog, lightning, and steep climbs, as well as moments of beauty like full moons and sunrises. The experience culminated in a spectacular view of the volcano erupting, which she described as a ‘massive explosion of light’ that made the physical struggle worthwhile.
