Eugenia Samara travels to Mexico City and Teotihuacan
Greek actress Eugenia Samara has shared details and photographs from her recent vacation in Mexico alongside Nikos Moutsinas and Konstantinos Dedes.
Samara highlighted various cultural and historical sites, including the National Museum of Anthropology, which features the 167-ton monolith of the rain god Tláloc and the ceremonial Sun Stone. She also noted the geographical challenges facing Mexico City, describing how the city is built upon the ancient Aztec capital of Tenochtitlán and faces a sinking problem of approximately 10cm annually due to groundwater over-extraction and the soft soil of a former lake.
The group also participated in a hot air balloon flight to view the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon and the Teotihuacan valley from above.
