Eugenio Trombino honors Pino Rauti on birth centenary

Eugenio Trombino, the leader of the Fratelli d’Italia group in the Rende City Council, has issued an official statement commemorating the centenary of the birth of Pino Rauti (1926–2026).

Rauti was a prominent figure in 20th-century Italian politics, serving as the Secretary of the Movimento Sociale Italiano and founding the “Destra Sociale” component. Trombino described the anniversary not as an act of nostalgia, but as a rediscovery of an ideological and cultural toolkit essential for understanding modern complexity.

The statement highlighted Rauti’s role as a cultural vanguard who challenged post-war political paradigms through intellectual laboratories like the Centro Studi Ordine Nuovo and various historical publications, including Linee Future, Elementi, and Pagine Libere.
