Eumseong County conducts integrity training for public officials
Eumseong County conducted the ‘2026 Eumseong County Public Official Integrity Training’ on September 3 at the Eumseong Myeongjak-gwan. The session was attended by approximately 300 employees, including high-ranking officials such as the county governor, vice governor, and department directors.
To increase engagement, the training utilized a ‘Integrity Cinema’ format, incorporating film content to present integrity values in an accessible way rather than through traditional one-way lectures. Led by instructor Jang Tae-jun from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission’s Integrity Training Institute, the curriculum covered anti-corruption systems, the Code of Conduct for Public Officials, the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, and the prevention of workplace bullying.
Participants included newly promoted officials, new hires, and staff responsible for contracts and licensing. County Governor Jo Byeong-ok emphasized that integrity is a fundamental value that determines trust in administration, urging officials to uphold laws and principles to maintain public confidence.
