Eumseong Myeongjak Festival to open on the 17th

The Eumseong Myeongjak Festival, an integrated festival for representative agricultural products of Eumseong-gun, will be held for four days from the 17th to the 20th at Geumbit Neighborhood Park in Geumwang-eup.

Under the theme ‘Taste containing time! Eumseong Myeongjak beyond imagination!’, the event combines the promotion of the local agricultural brand ‘Eumseong Myeongjak’ with sales and various cultural programs. The ‘Myeongjak Market’ will sell major local products including Eumseong clean chili peppers, peaches, ginseng, flowers, and rice. A new ‘1,000 won special sale’ will run daily from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cultural events include a drone show featuring 500 drones, a participatory folk play, and performances by artists such as Gukcaasten, Shin Yong-jae, Park Seo-jin, and Gummy. Family-oriented programs such as the ‘Myeongjak Children’s Farmer School’ and ginseng seedling planting are also available. To assist visitors, the festival provides free ginseng washing, electric cart services, and shuttle buses, with shuttle users receiving 5,000 won worth of agricultural coupons.
