Eunápolis parish organizes charity event to restore damaged church

The Paróquia Santa Rita de Cássia in Eunápolis, Bahia, is organizing a charity bingo and feijoada on September 20 to fund the restoration of its church. The temple, which is intended to become the future Sanctuary of Santa Rita de Cássia, sustained significant damage during heavy rains on July 13.

While repairs are pending, religious services have been moved to a smaller, older church. The fundraising event will take place at Sítio Reis and features prizes such as an electric bicycle, a calf, and a ram. All proceeds will be dedicated to the reconstruction of the sanctuary.
