Eureka parking lot to close for EaRTH Center construction

The Danco Group has announced the permanent closure of a parking lot located on 3rd Street, between G and H Streets in Eureka, California. The closure is necessary to facilitate upcoming project activities for the EaRTH Center development.

The parking lot closure is scheduled to begin on August 17, 2026, and is expected to remain in effect until at least June 1, 2028, depending on construction progress and site conditions. The EaRTH Center is a housing and transit development project that previously received $12 million in grant funds.
