EURES job fairs held in Lublin to promote safe international employment
The EURES job fair in Lublin featured over 80 exhibitors, including large regional enterprises and international companies. Advisors from Austria, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Germany, Slovakia, and Italy were present to assist job seekers, alongside an employer from Ireland.
A primary focus of the event was employment safety for those planning to work outside of Poland. EURES advisors emphasized the importance of verifying job offers through official channels to avoid discrepancies in working conditions or promised accommodations.
Tomasz Pitucha, Director of the Lublin Voivodeship Labor Office, highlighted the risks of incomplete job advertisements that omit costs for housing or other benefits. He also noted that advisors participate in training to combat human trafficking, a concern relevant both domestically and abroad.
